D700 test shot, November 2011

I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a Nikon D700 today.  It’s been a long time coming but after using my friend’s D300 for the shoot with Futures last week, and loving the quality I got from using that camera, it made me realise that I really needed to upgrade from my trusty D80.  Working with a full-frame sensor will take a little adjusting to but I’m already loving the clarity of my test shots, better noise control at high ISOs and more advanced autofocus options.

I’m taking behind the scenes photos on a music video shoot tomorrow so we’ll see what this D700 can do.
