Thirty Seconds To Mars
“…However for the die-hard fans it’s a reassurance that the band are still on their side, with the line, “what’s with the fascination with the Echelon”, being left for those in the audience to sing and ‘The Kill’ prompting emotive sing-a-longs from almost everyone in the venue. Before the last song of the night there are chants of, “this is war”, and it certainly feels like it.”

Winter Kiss video shoot
Young Guns shot their music video for Winter Kiss earlier this week and I went along with my cameras to photograph the long, freezing day.
The shoot was in an old, disused schoolhouse and on arrival we learnt of the top floor supposedly being haunted, after one of the school mistresses hanged herself. Of course we went to check it out but found it, and the cellar, nothing more than creepy. No nooses or ghostly figures, just a beheaded pigeon. It wasn’t until after dark that we ventured back to the top floor but chickened out of exploring it in complete darkness.
My digital photos of the day are all done and I’m now scanning and editing all the black and white film shots. Everything’s looking good so far but I’m half-expecting to find a bewildered phantom lurking in the background somewhere.
